Andrew Robson is Special Counsel at Baird & McGregor Lawyers and an LIV Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates, a designation he has held since 2004. He advises clients across Ballarat, Daylesford and regional Victoria on wills, estates, succession planning and estate‑related disputes, bringing depth of experience and sound judgment to every matter.

Andrew has practised primarily in wills and estates and conveyancing for most of his legal career. He assists individuals, families and business owners with succession planning, including advice on wills, powers of attorney, estate administration and estate litigation. His approach is thoughtful, structured and focused on helping clients plan ahead with confidence.
Before joining Baird & McGregor Lawyers, Andrew was a partner at Cuthberts Barristers & Solicitors, a long‑standing Ballarat law firm. He has been deeply engaged in the Ballarat community over many years, including serving as a former board member of the Ballarat Foundation and Pinarc Disability Support Services. He is also a past President of the Old Colonists’ Association of Ballarat Inc, one of Ballarat’s oldest philanthropic organisations, and is currently the Association’s Secretary.
Outside the office, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He follows the ups and downs of Collingwood, enjoys maintaining and driving his classic cars, and often travels with his wife to Halls Gap, where they appreciate the peaceful surrounds of the Grampians. Andrew is a member of the Ballarat Club and the Old Colonists Club of Ballarat.
