Born and raised in Ballarat, Andrew represents the third generation of lawyers in his family, reflecting a long‑standing dedication to the legal profession. His son, now practising law in Geelong, continues that tradition. Andrew’s strong local ties and deep understanding of regional legal needs are hallmarks of his practice.
Andrew is recognised for his extensive expertise in property law, assisting clients with residential and commercial property matters. He also advises clients in relation to wills and estate planning, helping individuals and families plan for the future.
Beyond his legal work, Andrew is proud of the positive, supportive workplace culture he has helped foster at Baird & McGregor Lawyers. Known for his approachable nature, Andrew enjoys building genuine relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Andrew’s first job was haycarting as a student, and he has always enjoyed meeting new people and assisting others - a philosophy that continues to guide his legal practice today.
Outside the office, Andrew is a dedicated Melbourne Demons supporter. He enjoys spending weekends in Anglesea, bike riding, and spending time with his family.
Andrew’s Labrador, Douglas, is a familiar and much‑loved presence in the office.
